RJM Wins Generator Air Coolers for The Shasta Dam, Bureau of Reclamation

RJM reverse engineered and designed duplicate General Electric generator coolers. The original 2500 kVA generator coolers were built for The Bureau of Reclamation in 1941 and featured a design with 176 fin tube copper tubes. The coolers were drop in to exactly fit the existing housing and water piping.

The Shasta Dam is a concrete arc gravity dam which is fed by the Sacramento River and produces 676 MW of power generation.
