RJM Supplies John Day Dam With Retubed Lube Oil Coolers

The John Day Dam is the fifth largest power producing dam in the USA with 2,485 MW output. RJM retubed the original 1971 lube oil coolers with one inch diameter copper nickel tubes and extruded aluminum fintube. The very large oil coolers, 10 ft diameter were also fabricated with new inlet and outlet headers. The contract included transportation to and from the fabrication facility.
